I’m not much for mobile games. My wife and daughter like to play Wordle, but that’s never appealed to me. Fellow New York Times game Connections is more my speed.
For free players like me, it offers one short game each day. The object is to sort 16 blocks containing a word or phrase into groups of four based on how they’re related.
The game designers try to make it tricky by including a few blocks that could be related but don’t fit into a group of four.
I like Connections because it allows me to take a short break from whatever it is I’m working on. And it’s not too involved. In fact, it’s the perfect length of time for bathroom break.
