Before I got my Birdfy camera-equipped bird feeder, I naively assumed that all the sparrows I saw around my house in Northern Virginia were the same kind. But there are possibly five types of sparrows that visit my bird feeder.
They include the song sparrow, chipping sparrow, white-throated sparrow and maybe house sparrow and Savannah sparrow. But you’d need to be an ornithologist to know for sure.
