Halls of fame for sports media pros, political consultants, jewelry retailers

Not every hall of fame has a physical building you can visit. Some only exist online.
I’ve previously discussed virtual halls of fame for accounting, barbecue, Hooters girls, hot sauce, pizza restaurants, toys and many more.
What follows are some more virtual halls of fame I’ve seen recently.

National Sports Media Association Hall of Fame

The National Sports Media Association Hall of Fame inducts sportscasters and sportswriters each year. Recent inductees include Jim Nantz, Dick Stockton and Dan Patrick.

American Association of Political Consultants Hall of Fame

The American Association of Political Consultants inducts individuals into its hall of fame for their leadership, longevity, and accomplishment in the profession. The most recent class of inductees into the AAPC Hall of Fame included Haley Barbour, former governor of Mississippi and Republican Party leader.

Jewelry Retailer Hall of Fame

Trade publication National Jeweler inducts jewelers into its Retailer Hall of Fame. It picks single-store and multi-store jewelers for the honor. The publication announced its 2022 Jewelry Retailer Hall of Fame inductees earlier this month.

Lottery Industry Hall of Fame

The Public Gaming Research Institute established the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame in 2005. It honors outstanding people in the world lottery industry.

Process Automation Hall of Fame

Trade publication Control selects inductees into the Process Automation Hall of Fame. It honors outstanding individuals in the process automation industry.

Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame

The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame considered building a brick-and-mortar museum but the venture proved to be cost prohibitive. So it is creating a virtual museum to honor the state's athletes and coaches in its hall.
